Sweet Tacle and Aniseed Rolls

45minutes
6/8serves
difficulty

Preparation

1

In a planetary mixer, mix the flour, sugar, softened butter, crumbled baking powder and 3moretti Tacle juice and start to knead.

2

While continuing to knead, add the egg, egg yolks, aniseed seeds, salt and grated 3moretti orange zest. Mix until the mixture is smooth. Place the dough in a bowl, cover and allow to rise until the volume has doubled.

3

Divide the dough into about 20 pieces and roll them between your hands and the work surface to form small balls.

4

Place the balls onto a baking tray covered with baking paper and leave to set until they have doubled in volume.

5

Brush the rolls with egg beaten with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

6

Bake in the oven for about 30/35 minutes at 180°C until golden brown. Remove from the oven, leave to cool and serve.

Tips

You can knead all the ingredients the night before, placing the dough in a bowl; cover with cling film and place in the fridge. The next morning, take it out of the fridge and leave it at room temperature for about 30 minutes; then continue as per the recipe.
